Murder at the Blitz Hotel!
It's finally Spring, May, to be exact, and flowers are blooming, the air is warming, and the residents of an old grand hotel have decided to engage in a party to help boost morale. The Date ~ 1943 The Setting ~ War torn London, England The weeks previous had been hard for all, as many suffered through bombings and fires. To help get through these hard times, the residents and guests are buzzing about, making plans for a joyous celebration. All appears to be going well until it is discovered that a murder has been committed. Let us now venture back to the World War II era and solve the crime of ~ So what happened? It seems that while the guests were swinging to the sounds of the big bands, the body of Bubbles Del Russo, was found in an upstairs guest room. Bubbles, a nursing student by day and hat check girl by night, was loved by all.....well, obviously NOT everyone. It appears that while making nightly rounds, checking on the hotel's wounded, Nurse Venom, discovered the body. As she entered a guest room and discovered Bubbles, she noticed that there were no apparent signs of struggle, nor was a murder weapon found. A very concerned Nurse Venom immediately notified the authorities but…funny thing…as they carried her cold, lifeless, body out into the hall, Nurse Venom was heard whispering……."I'm number one again, Del Russo….I'll always be number one!" So now it's time to join General Art Tillery, HaHa AHSO (Japanese spy), Seaman Ahoy (actor wannabe), Angel Lips (ballroom dancer), the infamous Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun, and Constable Constipation, to name a few and get ready for a bloody good time and a swinging evening of mayhem, mystery and MURDER!
