Three ways to play every case

Every party case can end at the reveal, or it can go to trial: the person your table accused stands in the dock, your guests become the jury, and nobody learns who really did it until the verdict is in. How the three ways work, for the host →

The party runs to the vote, and there is no reveal. The accused goes straight into the dock, everyone else becomes the jury, and an hour later you find out whether you convicted the right person.

The Full Case

The three things hosts ask before they buy

What happens if a guest drops out on the night?

Every case carries twelve to fourteen roles, split into core and flex. The core roles hold the solution. If your numbers fall, the host screen drops flex roles first, so the case still solves with six people at the table.

Do we need wifi, and what if it drops?

Yes. The host screen and every guest phone need an internet connection, and mobile data is enough. If a phone drops out briefly it reconnects to the same dossier on the same code, and nothing is lost.

How many players do I need?

Six to twelve guests, plus you. You play the victim, so you are not one of the twelve and you get to attend your own party. Extra guests can join as observers and help question the suspects.
