- This story involves theft, an affair, and a poisoning. It does not depict graphic violence or any real person or case.
A great department store on the one day of the year it is shut, with the window displays still lit and the staff Christmas do winding down on the top floor. A death in a locked building, a skeleton crew of people who all work for the same family firm, and a very clear list of who had keys.
That is as much as the file will give you. The rest comes out on the night, one piece of evidence at a time, and the room will be well into the evening before the shape of it shows.
