An Australian mountain hotel doing a roaring trade in a Christmas that is six months out of season: log fires, fake snow, and a dining room full of people from Sydney enjoying the joke. The fog comes in off the escarpment. By the time it lifts there is a body, and the joke has stopped.
That is as much as the file will give you. The rest comes out on the night, one piece of evidence at a time, and the room will be well into the evening before the shape of it shows.
